Projects such as pipelines have sparked national debates about Indigenous consent, sovereignty, and economic development. At the same time, Indigenous representation in Parliament and governance has grown, with figures like Jody Wilson-Raybould bringing Indigenous perspectives to national politics.<\/p>\n Indigenous politics in Canada reflects a broader struggle to decolonize governance and create relationships based on respect, recognition, and partnership.
